This Bee was painted for my most recent show, the 'The Birds and the Bees'

The original ended up with a friend, but the prints are absolutely beautiful.

Amanda Forward was the first artist to exhibit in this sunflower space. She painted a bee that could have sold about 40 times and sat right in this spot. Amanda is one of my closest friends, our kids are thick as thieves and we talk about art and mediums and opportunities and community. We both share Marine Terrace studios, and she helped me realise my worth as a professional artist. In a collection that is reflective of the past year, she has been an integral part, so she gets a bee.
