frequently asked questions.

are your workshops beginner friendly?

Hell yea! I once had someone say they hadn't painted in 51 years, and she had a fab painting at the end. Due to the step by step nature, I can guide both total novices and practicing artists to learn new techniques and complete their painting.

what happens if i cant come to my event?

The general rule is that tickets are non-refundable if its less then 7 days to the event, but you are welcome to give your ticket to someone else or send it to a friend. There's more about it in detail right here if you have any further queries

what ages are your kids classes suited to?

So my after school art is recommended for 6-9yos and then 10yo+.  It really doesn't matter if your kid is 'advanced' or not as art activities are scalable dependent on ability and class size is 14. It's more about people hanging out with kids their own age. If you have a 5yo who is scizzor confident and independent, they are welcome too!

do you do gift vouchers?

I do I do. They go all the way from $25 up to $200. Experiences make the best presents, and these can be redeemed for any of classes or workshops.

what are your opening hours?

It's a little mixed, but usually you will find me in the studio painting or running classes every weekday after 12 apart from Wednesdays and some weekends.I only open evenings for exhibitions and events. If in doubt, feel free to ring the studio phone on 0435 580 653 to make sure I'm around. (which I am usually!)

how do i get my art on the walls?

Shoot me a message or pop into the studio to say hello, and I'll let you know about upcoming opportunities. I don't charge people to exhibit their work but do charge a 10% commission if it sells.
