About the event
Come paint one of my absolute favourites, a Carnaby black cockatoo. This relaxed mini session is all about slowing down, getting creative, and painting a local legend of a bird that’s pretty special to WA. Carnaby’s (Calyptorhynchus latirostris) are ICONIC. But they’re also endangered, relying on old hollow trees to nest, and losing habitat every year. While we paint, the amazing guys from NACC will share a bit about why they matter. You'll be guided step-by-step to create your own version on a cute mini canvas, with plenty of room to make it yours. Nibbles provided, BYO booze, park by the sail inn because my road is 1hr only.
