I wasn't sure what to do when I finished school in sunny England, but I always loved art so I fell into an Illustration Degree. Once that was done, I went travelling and ended up in Hospitality, and absolutely adore working with people and in busy situations. I began a Pet Portrait side hustle when I landed in Perth 10 years ago, and have loved practicing and watching my personal style grow and develop. I had the opportunity to become a qualified TAFE lecturer and teach painting, hospitality, tourism, basic computing, intermediate excel and social media. Most recently worked as a small business advisor for a year, so felt ready to start my own venture. 

Some would say I have been training for the Sunflower Studio my entire life!

I have a four year old who is an absolute tornado, have been in Geraldton for nearly five years, and my coffee of choice is a long mac topped up. My favourite colour changes (just check my nails and see what it is this month) and I am a planner and organiser. I love a list, a lesson plan, practical activities and good vibes.
